Simone Frattasi is a European Patent Attorney and a Telecom Engineer with a CEIPI Diploma in IP Business Administration and a PhD in Wireless, Mobile Communications. He is currently serving as the Head of Global IP at MAERSK, which, under his leadership, won the Gold Award for 'Best IP Department Nordics' by Leaders League from 2022 to 2025. Prior to this role, he was the Head of the Patent Department at Sony Mobile Communications in Sweden. Moreover, he is the main author of the book: 'Patent Portfolio Management: A Practical Guide in the Age of Artificial Intelligence' (Edward Elgar Publishing, 2023 and 2025). He was recognized in IAM Strategy 300 ('24-'25), Managing IP’s Top Twelve Europe’s In-House IP Leaders ('23-'24), and Managing IP’s Corporate IP Star ('22-'25).

Rimma Pugatsch Shendelzon is a VP of Intellectual Property and IP strategist with nearly 20 years of experience leading IP portfolio development and cross-functional IP strategy in complex technology organizations. At AMP, she develops and executes global IP strategy aligned with business goals and drives operational excellence through modern, AI-assisted IP workflows. Previously, she served as Director of Intellectual Property at Landa Digital Printing. Rimma is ex-Chair of the Israel Patent Attorneys Association (IPAA), and she founded the Israel IP Managers Forum to strengthen the in-house IP community. A recognized lecturer and trainer, she teaches across academic courses and management programs and regularly speaks to professional audiences on IP strategy and innovation. She also advises startups and entrepreneurs on building defensible IP positions and making pragmatic gotomarket IP decisions. She has been consistently ranked as a top practitioner by IAM Patent 1000 and Managing IP. An early adopter and hands-on practitioner of cutting-edge AI tools, Rimma translates emerging platforms into practical, repeatable workflows.
