This course deals with how IP administrators can support their IP team with preparing IP Due Diligence reports and handling the processes.
An important prerequisite of legally secure IP transactions in restructurings, M&As or the acquisition or sale of companies or sales of companies is the analysis and evaluation of IP rights, the so-called IP due diligence.
Our speaker will discuss due diligence and how the preparation processes are to be classified and how they should be prioritised. You will learn how to prepare them safely and efficiently. Furthermore, you will learn how to deal with the due diligence of IP rights and how to recognise discrepancies, so-called red flag reports. The aim of the course is to enable participants to create their own IP report.
You will get to know the essential processes of due diligence of intellectual property rights. You will learn how to support your IP team and your superiors actively, carefully and efficiently in preparing reports and handling the processes.
