Our speakers will give you tips and tricks on EP claim drafting and will show you which pitfalls to avoid.
The drafting of patent claims in Life Sciences is one of the most advanced - and consequential - skills of an IP practitioner. Mistakes can be costly and even jeopardize the business strategy of an innovative company. With the Unified Patent Court now fully operational and AI-powered drafting tools reshaping daily workflows, the demands on claim quality have never been higher.
This four-part masterclass provides the most recent skills, strategies and tools for all those who want to draft strong, enforceable patent claims. Across four interactive modules with hands-on workshops, our speakers will deepen the knowledge acquired in your daily practice, share tips and tricks on European and international claim drafting, and show you which pitfalls to avoid. The course also covers the changes in practice by including AI-assisted drafting workflows - including a live tool demonstrations and quality control issues - FTO, as well as a focus on claims at
the UPC, claim construction, enforcement strategies, and SPCs.
Please note that claims outside the pharmaceutical, biological and chemical fields will not be covered. If you deal with mechanics, medical technology, electronics, CII or AI inventions, please refer to our companion masterclass.
